Russian Indian Tourism: The friendship between India and Russia is continuously increasing. Whenever there has been a crisis, both the countries have always stood to help each other and another new chapter is going to be added in this friendship. Both India and Russia are working on planning to provide visa free tourist entry to their people and it is expected that this work can be completed by the end of this year 2024.
Talking about providing free visa tourist entry between the two countries, a Russian minister said that travel between India and Russia has to be made more convenient. For this, talks on bilateral agreement will be started in the month of June. The Russian minister also said that Moscow and New Delhi are seriously working on sending visa-free tourist groups to each other’s country and promoting tourism.
Negotiations will be completed by the end of this year
Nikita Kondratyev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects of the Ministry of Economic Development of Russia, said that negotiations on this matter in India have entered the final stage. On behalf of the Russian Minister, on the occasion of “Russia Islamic World Kazan Forum 2024 International Economic Forum” in Kazan, it was announced that for the first time in June, an agreement on this issue will be discussed between Moscow and New Delhi and almost There are chances of this agreement being signed by the end of the year.
Steps taken to further strengthen tourism relations
Nikita Kondratyev said that India and Russia are ready to further strengthen their tourism relations and both the countries are also ready to start exchange of visa free tourist groups for each other’s citizens.
Wants to continue agreement with China and Iran
Nikita Kondratyev also said that Russia wants to continue this visa free entry and free travel with China and Iran also. The free visa tourist program between Russia and China was started on 1 August 2016, which is continuing till now and on the same day, the visa free group tourist entry program was also started with Iran. Now Russia wants to introduce it for India also.
